EMtel in the Community

We are aware that we are all part of a community and thus take our community based responsibilities seriously.

Employees as community volunteers

We actively support our employees to help out with charitable work and volunteering by running a flexible working strategy and allowing time off to work for charities.

Supporting business issues

Our MD, John Townsend, is a member of Nottingham Chamber Council and regularly attends meetings with MPs. He has been liaising with businesses, Government and Openreach to bring ‘Better Connectivity’ to areas that don’t currently have high-speed broadband access.

Providing cost-effective solutions to the third sector

We know that many charities get a bad deal for their telecoms as they don’t have the time or expertise to understand their telecom’s needs. But fundraising for charities is very hard so every penny counts and saving money is like making money.

“Our telecoms and broadband had just grown and been authorised by different people at different times – we had different lines with Virgin and BT. EMtel rationalised it all for us and significantly reduced our monthly outgoings.”
